The real benefits of yoga spill over into all the other aspects of life - running a business, minding children, looking after a home. Essentially you take your yoga off the mat and into your daily life.

FAQs

I’m not flexible - can I do yoga?

Yes! You are a perfect candidate for yoga. Many people think you need to be flexible to begin yoga, but that’s like thinking you need to be able to play tennis in order to take tennis lessons. Come as you are and you will find that yoga practice will help you become more flexible.

How many times a week should I practice?

Yoga is amazing! Once a week will impact hugely on all aspects of your life. The key is to find an amount of practice that feels right for you, whether that is five minutes or an hour. It is important not to burden yourself with your yoga - keep it free and flowing.

What do I need to begin?

All you really need to begin practicing yoga is your body, your mind and a bit of curiosity.
But it’s also helpful to have a pair of leggings or shorts and a comfortable t-shirt. No special foot gear is required because you will be barefoot. You will need your own mat and as you progress you might want to buy a yoga belt and blocks.
